Summary
This project brings to life a Sukiyaki and Shabu-Shabu restaurant that thoughtfully blends traditional Japanese dining with a touch of modern sophistication. Warm wood tones and traditional Japanese patterns are used throughout the space to create a sense of authenticity and comfort. At the entrance, the restaurant’s name and family crest are presented in a way that feels both classic and welcoming. A standout feature of the design is the integration of original Singaporean shophouse beams into the Japanese architectural framework — a unique detail that gives the space its distinct character. Inside, soft wall colours and the calming blue of traditional asahanada tones pair seamlessly with natural textures, setting the stage for a dining experience that is nostalgic, refined, and deeply rooted in cultural storytelling.
